Wow! More Fanart!!!

Gotta love Death the Kid & his partners Liz & Patty Thompson, again from Soul Eater.

Shortly after starting the Medusa pic, I got this idea into my head. Michael Phelps is all over the news for winning those 8 gold medals.
I figured that the only person who'd enjoy the fact that he got 8 medals as much as the man himself, aside from his friends and family, would be Death the Kid, since he's got an obsession with the number 8.

I really wanted to get this one out fast so that nobody else beat me to the punch. So I settled for using a pic of Phelps rather than drawing him (tho it probably wouldn't look much like him anyway).
I also chose the paper cut-out look to make things go faster, but also because I like the look a lot.

I'm really happy with the way Liz & Patty came out, I just wish there was more room so that they could be at full size. I'm not as happy with the way Kid came out, since I screwed up on his hands and feet. But his face came out absolutely perfect!

It took me forever to find a good pic of Phelps. Most of the pics were no good since either his arms were in the way or he wasn't positioned right. A majority of them were also too small, but would have been great to use. I had to finally settle on this one, which is the closest to what I wanted, but still isn't what I wanted.

Kid: "Finally! Another who understands the importance of eight!"
Liz:"Patty, please tell me Kid ISN'T hanging onto Michael Phelps!"
Patty:"HAHAHAHAHAHA! Don't be silly! Kid's humping him, see?"
Liz:"I was afraid of that..."
